Carrot-Apple Cake

Didn't expect it to be a rainy Sunday... Anyways, rainy or not, I still woke up late. Had some mates over to watch Germany vs Portugal in the morning. Had expected Germany to clinched the 3rd placing. Splendid first and third goals by B Schweinsteiger at the 56th minutes and 78th minutes. Portugal let in an own goal giving Germany the second score. "Gut erledigt Germany!"
Wasn't in mood for any lunch and just had a piece of bread with a thick spread of butter and jelly, a whole bar of toblerone, grapes and nutella (licking it naked from the bottle). There... that's me so-called lunch. Seeing it to be a cool day, I wanted to make tea special. Rummaged into the fridge and found ingredients good for baking a cake. Thus, the header.
All afternoon was spent playing "NFSMW" - Need For Speed Most Wanted. A racing game. Hmph... with a mug of tea and cakes, I'm fulled up for a hell ride with my Fiat Punto!!! brrr... brrr... brrrooom...!!!
Ingredients for Carrot-Apple Cake
3 Granny Smith apples - grated
2 carrots - grated
1.5 cup butter - melted
2 eggs - beat
1 cup fine white sugar
0.5 cup fine brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1.5 tsp baking soda
3 cups AP flour - sifted
Method
Beat eggs and mix in sugars and vanilla essence in a bowl. Put in all grated apples and carrots in another bowl and pour in melted butter. Add in baking soda and mix well. Pour in egg mixture and stir . Sift flour bit-by-bit and stir well. Don't over-stir coz it might toughen cake. Grease a bking tin and pour in the mixture. Bake @ 200'C for 40 minutes. Easy huh!
