Milk Honey Bread

Plain Honey Bread

I wanted to do a really simple cake tonight and got this. It sounded wholesome and I have all the ingredients needed. So at 8.30 pm I was all set for a cake errrm bread I suppose now. Now to jazz the Hon...

Nothing beats pairing with ice-creamo and jammo

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup full cream milk
1 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
1 tsp salt
2 egg yolks
1/8 cup salted butter - melted

Method
Heat up milk to a bubble and add in honey till 2-become-1. Add in brown sugar and stir till dissolved. Put aside to cool. In another bowl, sift flour and mix with salt and biocarbonate soda. Add into the milk mixture and stir well till combine. Beat egg yolks and put into melted butter and pour the mixture into combined mixture. Stir well with a wooden spoon. Grease baking pan and bake for 50-60 minutes on 180'C.

Next time I'll throw in some dried raisins/apricots/nuts. Betcha it'll taste awesomorelicious!
