Buttermilk Pancake

This was one of my breakfast from last week. Just so happens that I was browsing through my DGpics and chance upon this. I had a terribly hard time to make it round. Yeh, I'm a perfectionista. Mentioned so under "About Me". Wanted to make "towering" pancakes but got sooo fed-up (coz pancake were in all odd shapes but round!) and made a couple of HUGE whatever-shape-that-happens pancake instead. Drizzed some maple syrup from A&W Bangkok. Yeh, I'm a miser that I 'lugged' those packet maple syrups all the way home. It had a different intense sweet and 'burnt' flavour. Now... I couldn't just leave the extras behind could I?
